The 3 Most Important Things To Do, To Reach A Higher Level Of Consciousness
What is a higher level of consciousness mean, and how do i get there? To reach this state, you must be consciously aware of being conscious. You must live in the now, and be present in any given moment. In order to do this, you must be in touch with your inner most feelings or your truth. You must lead a spirit centered life and not and ego centered one. What does this mean? The ego wants us to have fear, anger, jealousy, pride, worrying thoughts and feelings. The spirit wants us to live in truth, love, passion, compassion and be at peace.
The first and most important thing you must do is quiet your mind and find some inner peace. Meditation is a great way to do this. In this video, I explain how easy it is to learn how to meditate and make it become a daily practice. We are all very busy, but we all can find 10 min a day to meditate. It does not necessarily have to be done in the way that i teach, you can also meditate while doing an activity that you enjoy. you can even take 3-5 min a day, to close your eyes and do some deep breathing. Over time, you will learn how to relax your mind and be in a state of peace, this will raise your awareness and help you become in tough with your inner feelings and thoughts.
Secondly, you must be kind and loving towards yourself. Except the good, the bad, and the ugly of yourself. Do not try to be perfect, and do not feel guilty about not being perfect. We, as a society re so critical and judgmental on ourselves. We must love and accept ourselves for exactly who we are, in this exact moment. To love yourself more, you must feed your mind with positive thoughts. Try to read positive affirmations in the morning and at night everyday. Do kind and loving things for others, this will make you feel better about yourself. Step away from any negative people that are sucking the life out of you.
Third, live in the moment, the now. Too many of us, regret the past or worry about the future. If we continuously stress about the past, or worry about the future, how can we enjoy the now? We must live for today, and make the most out of our 24 hr day. Do not make excuses, or say you do not have time, because we all have plenty of time. Time is an illusion, live every second, every minute, and every hour of your day in a positive state. Gratitude is a great way to make the most out of everyday. Be grateful that you are alive and breathing, today. Stop worrying, dwelling, procrastinating, and make the most out of your time. Live for today!
If you follow these 3 simple rules, you will have reached a higher level of awareness, or consciousness. You will be aware that you need to be positive, love yourself, and live in the moment. Meditation is not easy at first, especially if you are new at this practice. Is anything in life worth reaching, easy? We must be disciplined, consistence, and dedicated to anything we want to accomplish in our lives. Anyone can do it, if you truly want to reach a peaceful place within yourself. Whether you are an A type personality, very busy, or stressed out of your mind, meditation will work. It will take 2-3 months of being consistent to feel it working. Once you can quite your mind, it will become so much easier to be more positive and live in the now.
